《When You Believe》是1998年夢工廠動畫片《埃及王子》的主題曲。創(chuàng)作靈感來自于動畫片主角回憶想向上帝祈禱的場景，起初，他們祈禱數(shù)夜上帝卻未曾應答，最終卻堅信，只要相信上帝，奇跡就一定會出現(xiàn)，也就是歌詞中的There can be miracles when you believe。
這也是本首歌的主題所在。歌曲的mv在布魯克林音樂學院拍攝，其中的埃及背景和幕布等靈感皆來自于《埃及王子》，凱利和休斯頓的幕后視頻不斷穿插在mv當中，整個mv場面莊重不失典雅，最后以炫目的煙火效果和宏大的合聲達到高潮。凱利和休斯頓的演唱的獨特氣質(zhì)也完美融合，這成為兩人難得的合作經(jīng)典。
